MEGAN METCALF
We’re so excited to share that Meg is joining our team!
Meg has been a licensed massage therapist for 19 years and brings a wealth of experience from her previous experiences working in physical therapy and medical settings. She is highly skilled in deep tissue massage, with additional training in ultrasound and electric stimultion. Her background makes her an excellent fit for clients seeking therapeutic results and structured bodywork.
Alongside her medical expertise, Megan is also a yoga teacher and sound healer. She brings in the restorative side of care through crystal bowl sound healing sessions and yoga therapy. She also has additional training in somato-emotional release work- which is perfect for those of us who hold it all in and let our issues get stuck in our tissues!
Her strong foundation in body mechanics and yoga therapy makes her a wonderful adjunct to our physical therapy services, especially when it comes to guiding clients through movement and exercises that support long-term healing.
Meg will:
- Be available in-office for massages and private yoga therapy sessions. She will be filling in when our other team members are out, ensuring you always have access to care.
- Offer house calls for those who prefer support in the comfort of their own home.
Clients can book the following types of sessions with Meg:
- Therapeutic massage
- Sound healing (standalone or as an add-on with massage)
- Private yoga therapy
- Massage with somato-emotional release work- a wonderful way to support both body and mind.
We’re thrilled to have Meg’s expertise, warmth, and healing presence available for you at Whitewave Bodywork.
Yoga Therapy
At Whitewave Bodywork, Yoga Therapy is more than a class — it’s a personalized, 60-minute private session designed around your body’s unique needs.
During your session, we’ll guide you through therapeutic yoga poses and movements tailored to your specific goals or ailments — whether that’s easing back or hip pain, improving flexibility, building strength, or supporting recovery after injury or pregnancy.
Yoga Therapy blends movement, breath, and body awareness, making it a powerful complement to massage and physical therapy. Think of it as a session that meets you exactly where you are and helps you feel better in your body — one pose at a time.
